Choosing a dance class can feel complicated when you’re new to the dance world. This guide helps you find the perfect fit so you can have fun, grow, and thrive in our supportive environment.

Age Based Recommendations
Every child grows and learns differently. Our age groups are designed to match your dancer’s developmental stage so they feel confident, supported, and excited to come to class.
Ages 3-5
Preschool Tap/Ballet Combo
An exciting introduction to dance foundations, musical awareness, socialization, and fun through movement.
Ages 4-6
Pre-Competitive Ballet
Build your confidence and love for the stage through this foundational ballet class which attends two local dance festivals. Learn ballet basics, choreography, musical awareness, coordination, and get the chance to compete and perform on stage.
Ages 4-9
Pre-Junior/ Junior Cheer Jazz
Cheer Jazz, also known as POM Jazz, is a popular, high-energy class that blends cheerleading, jazz, and hip hop elements with the exciting bonus of using pom-poms. This class is structure like the highly sought after “Little Miss Outriders,” and is taught by a former professional CFL and NLL cheerleader. Sharp, synchronized, and sparkly, this class is not to be missed.*There is no “stunting” in this class*
Ages 5-7
Pre-Junior Acro
Body-safe acrobatics, strength, flexibility, conditioning, and choreography for local festivals.
Ages 5-9
Pre-Junior Tap
Intro to tap technique, rhythm, and musicality in a fun environment.
Ages 6-11
Junior 1–3 Jazz / Musical Theatre A
Jazz technique, choreography, or musical theatre skills (dance, acting, singing).
Ages 6-13
Cheer/POM Jazz

Junior Tap Technique
Core tap technique for competitive or pre-competitive students.
Ages 8-10
Competitive Tap, Jazz, and Ballet
Competitive choreography classes; prerequisite core classes required.
Ages 10+
Pre-Intermediate / Intermediate Ballet, Jazz, Acro, PBT, Lyrical / Contemporary, Tap
Skill-building and competitive preparation, festival and show participation, advanced technique, strength, and performance readiness.
Ages 12-18
Teen Jazz / Intermediate / Senior Classes
Advanced skill development, performance prep, musical interpretation, and competitive choreography.
Program Type Guide
Every dancer’s journey is unique. Whether your child is dancing for fun, looking for a challenge, or wanting a short-term experience, our programs are designed to meet them exactly where they are.
Recreational Program
Ages 3-18+
Love to dance but not ready to compete? Our recreational programs are once weekly from September – June, with optional winter performances within the community, and a Year-End Recital at the beginning of June.
- Focuses on creativity, confidence, and foundational skills
- No festival or competitive requirements
- A great starting place for new dancers of any age
Competitive Program
Ages 4-18+
Just can’t get enough dance? Consider joining our pre-competitive and competitive programs where we separate technique and choreography, and get more stage time when we attend dance festivals and competitions.
- Pre-Competitive: Includes dress/stage rehearsals, local festivals, and the year-end show
- Competitive: Requires core technique classes (ballet, jazz, tap), choreography classes, and competition participation
- Designed for dancers seeking growth, challenge, and performance experience
Sessional Classes
Ages 9 months - Adult
Ready to try something new but unable to commit to a full season? We’ve got you covered with a variety of sessional classes.
- Typically 4–6 week specialty classes (e.g., Acro sessional, Dance Cirque)
- Perfect for exploring a new style or adding extra training
- Great for families wanting flexibility or a trial experience
Private Lessons, Workshops & Camps
Ages 4-18+
Looking for something to do when regular classes aren’t running or to accelerate your learning or focus on specific skills? Check out these super fun dance camps, specialized workshops, and one-on-one opportunities with our instructors.
- Private Lessons: One-on-one coaching for technique, choreography, flexibility, or skill refinement
- Workshops: Specialty classes led by guest instructors or focusing on specific skills or styles
- Camps: Fun, themed programs often offered seasonally (summer, winter, PD days)

Register Through Go Studio Pro
First-time registration includes a $25 registration fee, first month’s tuition, and a cancellation month’s tuition.
Payment plans can be arranged for families with multiple classes.
